Your questionnaires stay in your browser

FillDesk runs inside your web browser. Questionnaires you paste or upload, the answers you write, and your answer library are processed in your browser tab and saved in your browser's localStorage. They are never sent to our servers, and we have no database of questionnaires or answers. You can check this yourself in your browser's developer tools (Network tab): no request carries your content.

What is stored on your device

• Answer library and company name: saved in localStorage so they are there next time. Clearing your browser data removes them, so export a library backup (CSV) regularly.
• Free-plan marker: a short fingerprint of your first questionnaire's questions, used to apply the free plan. It is stored in localStorage only.
• License key: if you activate Pro, your browser sends the key to our payment provider (Gumroad) to check it. The key is remembered in localStorage and rechecked every few days.

Hosting logs

Our host (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and operations. These never include your questionnaires or answers. We don't use advertising trackers.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Gumroad, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details from Gumroad to support your license.

Your answers are your responsibility

Starter answers are templates. Review every answer and replace placeholders with accurate details before sending anything to a customer.
